Data retention
QTP Mail provides receive-only public temporary mailboxes, member-created temporary mailboxes, and administrator-provisioned permanent mailboxes. Temporary mailboxes and messages are deleted after expiration. Member usernames, display names, irreversible password hashes, terms acceptance timestamps, sessions, mailbox ownership, and necessary security records are retained. Backups are generated on demand for download and are not stored as additional server copies.
Logs and operational data
To maintain security and prevent abuse, the application database stores only necessary hashed IP, security, and error records; it does not store visitors' raw IP addresses. Temporary mailboxes and messages are periodically removed after expiration. This service uses Cloudflare Workers, D1, Email Routing, Turnstile, and other global cloud infrastructure, so data may be processed outside the user's country or region.
